1. memorization isn't key -- at least not always.

the idea is to memorize the key terms, and then learn to associate them with what you're learning.

2. rewrite condensed notes to study.

don't completely rewrite pages of notes -- read through them, come up with a condensed version with abbreviations easily understood and then rewrite the notes into a neatly organized "study sheet". doing one for each unit or test will help with studying for a final exam.

3. prioritize.
